If Royal Oak isn’t on your weekly route, don’t worry — we’ve reverse-engineered the magic so you can recreate it wherever you are. It’s not exactly the same (Lucky’s espresso machine does things we can only dream of), but it’s pretty close.
Our At-Home Iced Lavender Latte Recipe
You’ll need:
1 shot of espresso (or ¼ cup of strong brewed coffee)
¾ cup of milk (we love oat or whole milk for richness)
1–2 tsp of lavender simple syrup (recipe below)
Ice
For the Lavender Syrup:
½ cup water
½ cup sugar
1 tbsp dried culinary lavender
Bring the water and sugar to a simmer in a small saucepan. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Add the lavender and let it steep for 10–15 minutes off the heat. Strain and cool. Store in the fridge for up to a week.
To make the latte:
Fill a glass with ice.
Add your shot of espresso or strong coffee.
Pour in your milk.
Stir in 1–2 tsp of lavender syrup, to taste.
Give it a gentle stir, take a sip, and let your shoulders drop.
